Even though the internet Salon Coach Nina Tulio's passion and energy for the Salon Industry are apparent. She is a successful former salon owner who parlayed her leadership and drive into a mission to inspire others to grow not only professionally but personally.

Below is her Three C's To Long Term Success.

After owning a successful salon Business for 11 years and being a hairstylist for 20 years, I can tell you it is one of the most rewarding things in the world. But also one of the hardest things in the world. I decided to sell my business back in 2016 to focus 100% of my time coaching and inspiring artist and owners just like you.

So I totally understand growing a successful salon business and growing your business behind the chair can be overwhelming at times! So much to do and so little time right?

Whether you are an owner, renter, commissioned stylist, or barber, these 3 C’s can truly help you stay focused on the long term goal of success.
Let me break down my top 3:

COMMITMENT - Be 100% committed to doing whatever it takes to grow yourself and your business! Say it out loud….I can commit to:

  1. Personal growth and development. Reading more, listening to podcasts, cutting back on TV.
  2. Taking on Social media as a part-time job.
  3. Taking care of your existing clients and being focused only on that client while they are in your chair. Remember if you are NOT retaining clients, you are NOT growing your business.
  4. Self-care. I must make taking care of myself a priority, so I can be my absolute best for my guests and or my team.

CONSISTENCY - No matter what you do, be consistent in your approach and your follow through.

  1. Social media. Dedicate time once or twice a day to post great content.
  2. Referral program. Hand out your cards consistently to every client.
  3. Provide a 5 Star experience to every client every single time. Consistency is the key to growth in any and every area of your life. Show up as your best self and deliver EVERY TIME!

COMPASSION - We are in the people business. Not the hair business. Your job is to make people look and feel beautiful, inside and out. It’s not all rainbows and butterflies! Certain guests need your constant care and compassion, especially when they are going through a hard time. When you listen, truly understand your guest’s needs behind the chair, and give them what they want from a compassionate and caring space. YOU ARE GOLDEN.

Truly care about everything you do and say, and it will translate through your work and your energy behind the chair.
